We offer spaces for children from 12 months to 5 years
Location
Our Preschool is set in the beautiful countryside village of Walton-On-The-Hill, Surrey. We have a large green and woodland area right on our doorstep, shops, cafes, and a large pond all within close walking distance.
Preschool Facilities
We have a dedicated playroom for preschool children and a separate area for toddlers. Both rooms have access to the large garden and we also have use of a large hall for group activities. There are accessible toilets and an entrance hallway with hooks for coats and bags. We also have use of a fully equipped kitchen and a large car park to the rear of the building.
Dining Area
Children gather in the main hall for lunch times. Each child has their own place setting with a name and picture. These also display any allergies or dietary requirements. We have suitable tables and chairs for children as well as highchairs for younger toddlers. Children are encouraged to participate in setting the tables and cleaning up after lunch.
Arts & Crafts
We love open-ended resources to allow children to explore and be creative. There is free access to paints, play dough, and craft materials for preschool children. We try to use natural resources we have collected at Forest School or from our garden.
Garden
We are fortunate to have a large and diverse garden. There are sections for nature conservation, growing vegetables, and lots of space for exercise. We have a mud kitchen, play stage, and construction areas. We enjoy lots of Forest School activities and play outside every day.
Sleep Area
Children and younger toddlers who require a nap during the day can do so on comfortable mats with a warm blanket. We also have a few cots for those who need them. We have a separate quiet space for children to nap with calming music, monitors, and regular checks.
